High School Musical 3 star Jemma McKenzie-Brown will not be in the next installment of the franchise so is going back to auditioning.

The actress, 14, who played Tiara Gold in the third film in the hit series starring Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, is now rejoining the ranks of many young hopefuls on the auditions circuit, but is grateful to have the Disney smash under her belt.

She said: “I think it’s been decided they’re going for a whole new route with it which is a shame but I had a really good time doing the third one.”
She added: “I’m back to auditioning and have got some cool opportunities and good scripts so hope something comes up!

“When I’m 16 and have left school I can start concentrating on other stuff and in ten years time I’ll hopefully have a film or two under my belt but I love theatre too so that would be fun.”

Jemma McKenzie-Brown looks stunning on the red carpet for the premiere of 17 Again at the Odeon West End in London on Thursday night (March 26).

Jemma wore a Cup Tulip Dress by Rare and gold peep toe pumps.

Jemma McKenzie Brown will be starring in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical 4 along with Justin Martin and Matt Prokop!

So, what will HSM4 be about? Disney says it’s “East meets West in a classic love triangle set against the cross-town school rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights.”

Jemma McKenzie-Brown looks stunning in a short dress and braided updo as she attends the UK premiere of Marley and Me held at the Vue West End in London on Monday evening.

The 14-year-old actress will be traveling to Italy soon to promote the release of the High School Musical 3 DVD!

The Mirror confirms that Jemma McKenzie-Brown will be starring in High School Musical 4 and says that many movie roles are being offered to her!

She says: “Since doing the movie I’ve gone from getting auditions for radio plays to getting auditions for films. It’s like, ‘We’re considering Tom Cruise for the role of the father,’ and I’m thinking, ‘Oh God, this is crazy.’”

She also admits it’s strange to be compared to Miley Cyrus.  “It’s strange when people compare me to Miley, because she’s such a massive star.  It’d be amazing to be as successful as her but it’s just nice to be classed in the same category.

“It’s just too huge. Everything is really surreal, it hasn’t sunk in yet. You have to step back. It’s crazy, it’s not something you ever imagine happening to you.”
